1971: This car was build by "Max-Moritz" in 1971 and painted in the team color "condagrün" (conda green). The car was raced for MM by "Quist/Göring/Krumm" on at least one ocassion, the "24 Hours of LeMans" in June 1971. The car was leading it's class until Dietrich Krumm hit the guard rail during the 15th hr. of the race, braking the pass. side axle.

1972/73 - The car was then bough by Eckhard Schimpf in 1972 and painted Signal Orange (he kept the condagrün roof, windshield frame and targa bar). The car was sponsored by Jägermeister and sported the Jägermeister logo and font.

1974/75 - The car was then sold to "Laub" in 1974 and raced by "Laub/Mohr". Laub painted the car "condagrün" again. Laub sold the car to a unknown person in the USA and is currently in the possession of Mr. Klaus Mueller.

Btw., Armando, that initial link posted by Jeff Hines is a webpage that i set up for Nancy so they would have all the info in one place as they were interested in the history of the original to their replica. so yes, i probably "borrowed" some of your info for that page ;-) and to Rolf Grumme: great work on the replica! one thing i'd like to point out, on the original car, the roof was left in the original MM color, Conda Green. Nancy's replica has a black roof.

This car is in the USA. Doesn't seem to have had "said damage" as described. It's in bits and peices, but no sign of major damage. Yes, we think by the research that it is the real Jagermeister 914GT. Do you have any more recent info. Would like to know. Thanks, Herrr Muller

Armando and all- Nice to know a little history about that car. In regards to Nanci's comment, I am the one who built the replica she currently owns ,featured recently in Porsche Panorama. I always was in envy of my friend John Byrne who has the Kremer bros. Jagermeister 911 RSR #54 also driven and owned by Eckehard Shimpf. It wasn't until I saw a photo in the book "Das Grosse Book Porsche 914" that I found out that there had been a Jagermeister 914-6 GT that I decided to build a replica.The replica was built in 1992 and I time trialed it at PCA and Green Flag events in California until 1996. Last thing I heard about the original car and this information is several years stale from John Byrne, is that the car was in disreputable shape in a basement in Europe. I'm still researching this and will send any updates if can. Rolf Grumme.

Armando, That is the 914-6 of Max Moritz chassis 914.143.0178. In 1971 gefahrnen from Quist/Krumm, 1972 and 1973 in the lacquer finish of hunter master under the Jaegermeister team, driver hitting a corner hard. In 1974 to 1975 leaves again in the Max Moritz colors. Today, this 914-6 GT is in the possession of Mr. Klaus Mueller who might be in the USA. It possesses so much I white also the Walt measure of 914-6. The picture shown on your GT website comes from me.

Hi Jeff, yes, there are a couple of guys copying the photos from my site in an effort to pretty much do the same thing I am in trying to do; document the GT cars with photos and information. I realize that I have copied some photos from other sources, however, most of the photos I have of these cars in my site were given to me to display which I know these two other guys can't say. I have many more photos I'm not allowed to post and more information yet to verify. It's almost comical, even my own comments are sometimes copied over to their site "word-for-word". What am I do to... Thanks Jeff!
