...Our friend Armin of Knüpfing Motorsport [info@knuepfing-motorsport.de] recently provided me with these photos of the Strahle 914-6 GT while at the "2004 Salzburgring" event in Austria. http://www.salzburgring.com/en/start.php

This 914-6 GT is currently owned by Günther Steckkönig who drove this very GT 33 years ago to win the 1000km race at the Salzburgring (Oct 11, 1970). Günther Steckkönig now comes back to place his 914-6 GT in "2nd Place" with a field of no less than 160 entries! A great achievement! The other 914-6 in the photos (Blue 914) is another 914 that Armin's shop recently restored, this 914 came in 5th Place.
