S/N 915/S/ 797 1018

(2003) This is another 916 gearbox I own which is currently undergoing a complete restoration https://pbase.com/9146gt/916_racing_gearbox_2_restoration . After removing the epoxy paint from the case components, a crack was discovered in the Magnesium "tail-housing" which will have to be welded. Overall, the 916 gearbox is in excellent condition and will also received a 7:31 Ring & Pinion in exchange for the 10:31 R&P that was installed.

This 916 gearbox lived in a 914-4 behind an Auminum V8 engine conversion. Stay tuned...
