We had a rough day today, Caleb and I. I was in a foul
mood from the start of the day and a little too snippy with
my kids and wife. Caleb had one of those full tilt two
year old days where everything is a test of your will to
see who the alpha dog is going to be. Those two things did
not combine for a great Saturday as father and son. At the end
of the day, though, it was a nice evening and we got outside
and he burned off some steam and I let some out of my teakettle
and cooled down. The great thing about kids is they have a
forgiving memory. We were able to close the day out on a good note.
And that's how it's supposed to be.
