Rented many a boats here to go out to the island. Had a nice lunch, swam and spent the whole day. It is where I first learned about the tide rising and going out. When we would first anchor the boat we were only100 feet from the snack hut. As the day went on the boat got further and further away and I couldn't remember it being such a long walk to the boat. Then someone mentioned the tide was going out and they had to keep moving the boat so it wouldn't get beached.
