Does anyone remember the sunken barracks? When they first were going to build the barracks they thought it would be nicer near the beach. They put up the frame work but after a day or so the 3 story building was a 3 1/2 story. Turns out because of the water table so near the ocean it would not support the weight. So they moved things further inward.
