My Husband Robin Hamilton was in the 21st Tass TDY in USAF. Left the states about May 26th of 1972 boarding a Tiger Stretch 8 at Travis Air Force Base for Vietnam. He landed at DaNang A.F.B. about May 28th 1972. After about 3 days he was shipped to Tan Son Nhut A.F.B. Siagon. Then was attached to the 21st O. M.S. He was assigned to 3-02 Skymasters to crew. On or about June 21st, 1972, Robin sent one of his aircraft's out on a mission. The Aircraft and 2 pilot's never came back. The 0-2 was lost to enemy fire along with both pilot's. Also 2 pay day's in a row Ben Was A.F.B. was hit by rocket attack. Then Robin was sent to Phau Cat for 2 week's to assist with 0-2 Skymasters there. The Robin Hamilton was sent home to Mc Clellan A.F.B. to 552 O.M.S. around October 20th, 1972.
