I remember when Valentine's K9 almost bit the hand off of A1C Bill Royal's hand in front of L/E headquarters near the main gate. I was assigned to C Flight as desk sergeant. Bill learned NOT to pet a SENTRY DOG 😁. (Bob Mull, 432nd SPS 71-72)
