A Frosty Day in the Brecon Beacons 2009
Frosty the sheep dog on the top of Pen - y - Fan
How does it get there and more to the point, stay there?
How does one stem of grass support that much ice?
What a grey day
Soft and fluffy barbed wire
The sheep don't mind
Frosted stems
Within an hour its a blue day with sunbeams
Jamies walk
Perfect shadows
Temperature inversion
Crisp landscape
Temperature inversion
Its cold up here
In the bleak mid winter
Earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone
Makes you shiver
Hardly a cloud in the sky
Lone walker, as the sun goes down behind the hill

Gorgeous photos, from monochome through to blue :-) I last walked (fairly slowly!) up Pen y Fan in July 2005, so would love to revisit in Winter.
