When I saw the bushy red head and neck on this small heron, I instantly thought I had my life Reddish Egret. But the lack of pink at mandible's base, the yellow iris, and the stark yellow-greenish legs were dead giveaways for yet another non-breeding Little Blue Heron. Still....it's a beautiful specimen!
