Unfortunately, Florida was receiving the same blustery and thickly overcast cold weather that blanketed much of the eastern coast. I was thrilled to run into a fallout of migrating warblers, my favorite passerines, but horrified over the lack of light with which to photograph them. In this little cluster in the oaks surrounding the Myakka State Park office, I saw Orange-crowned, Parulas, Palms, Blue-Gray Gnatcatchers and this Black & White. Sleeping in the midst of their jingling and dynamic feeding activity was the baby raccoon in the previous photo.
