The event had lots of fighting in the woods. There was a support area for the fighters. I fired my .75 cal hande-gonne to start the fights. We also had archery, thrown weapons, and arts and crafts. The hosting group marked off areas like fighting, first-aid, archery, etcetera, with painted tapestries. I got a couple of shots as the cooks began to set out the feast. The Baron and Baroness held court, punctuated by a couple of Samurai presenting the severed "heads" of the enemy. The evening wound up with a bardic circle, around the campfire.
