Today as we strolled and sniffed around on the ground beneath the Magnolias, we encountered numerous fallen tree leaves as well as some dried up blossom sheafs scattered amongst them. However, I was surprised and intrigued by an unusual object I found, which upon closer inspection at first appeared to be the hairy hide of a vanished critter, but side b revealed it was actually a mutant leaf, a diabolical synthesis of plant and animal, like tofu hot dogs or worse.
Below, I submit to you, esteemed viewerss, a comparison of a fallen Magnolia leaf, then a sheath from a Magnolia blossom, then the object du jour -- the mutant skin. Next I focus on the front and back of it, so the viewer can marvel at the Darwinian paradox, and perhaps ponder for a moment the cosmological implications.
