January 3

This is the famous "hobo clown playing the violin" painting on black velvet that my wife and I received as a Christmas gift this year from Sharon's brother, Chris, and his wife, Maureen. This shot across the bow signaled the start of what I'm sure will be a long tradition of incredibly awful & tasteless gifts exchanged between the two couples. I'm a little sad for Chris & Mo because they are about to find out the absolute depths I am willing to sink to in order to outdo this magnificent example of bad taste. Let the games begin.

I'm shocked that you would infer that our gift of the Hobo Clown was tasteless. Had you any refinement you would know this is a perfect example of Fine Art. In regards to your charge of "firing across the bow" I think we it's safe to say we scored a direct hit on your bridge wing. (hahaha!) - Chris
