This is the reason for not posting lately on the PAD gallery. Last Monday, my leg and right foot were accidently hit with steam condensate (210 degrees) on the jobsite. The problems didn't really start until February 2nd when the serious blistering and bleeding commenced on my foot. Soaking, hitting it with antiseptic cream and bandaging didn't stop the seeping through the gauze pads, bandages and sock by the end of the workday. The trip to the doctor's office on Friday resulted in a more serious antibiotic cream, oral antibiotics and better instructions on caring for the problem. He also ruled out an infection. I did take some images of the unbandaged foot for later comparisons but you REALLY don't want to see any of those. This is not a problem that this diabetic needed right now.
