Not Quite Right

January 13

Home

Something in this world is not quite right, as I have existed for the past
30 hours in a daze trying to make myself wake from this on-going bad dream.
Someone shake me, please wake me. I need some sense of reality to return.

Yesterday morning, a dear friend, mother of three, wife of our pastor, calm,
sweet, loving, patient, young... Evette Lynn Allison never woke from her
sleep. Evette's passing has left us all living in somewhat a surreal world.
Thirty three and full of life yet taken from our presense. It just doesn't
make good sense. Evette was a calming factor for so many in her world.

Please keep her family in your prayers as they deal with the loss and confusion.

I agree...sometimes life just doesn't make any sense.
Evette and her family are in my prayers.

It's hard to make sense of it all at times...condolences to all who are effected by her passing, Scott.

Let the Lord give the strength and peace to her loved ones.
There is a time when God takes only the best of People to give them some more important role, the role for the chosen ones.
I like to think this way for my relatives, deceased too young...
Take care,
Milos

I am sorry for this loss. Sometimes, it is hard to make sense of what happens around us.

Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Scott, do not try to comprehend. And, remember, the Lord does not want just all the old, shrivelled people--he wants some roses in His garden as well.

Scott, your image speaks softly of sorrow..I will pray..

Scott, there is a reason for everything. God always brings good out of bad. What we don't understand now we will one day. It doesn't make sense but maybe we aren't supposed to understand right now. My prayers and thoughts are with this family. I know they must be in deep sorrow but one day they will see her again. That is our hope, the hope so many don't have. My prayers are with all that knew her too!
