Light Box XIX

Pegram, TN

Not sure what the technical name is for this "ground frost". It
is often found at the base of dried plants in the winter forming
from the moisture in the moist warmer ground releasing into the
freezing air from the space at the base of the dormant plants.

Wow, we've had frost but not this much. I always thought that was a hoar frost. But I could be wrong. Beautiful shot, whatever it is called :)
