Fort Pulaski, GA

BEST IN ORIGINAL

Firing of a replica 1861 rifled canon at Fort Pulaski at the mouth
of the Savannah River between Tybee Island and Savannah just off
Highway 80. This represents a compilation of 4 shots taken in 1/2
second. The battle fought in August 1862 at this site was the first
in which these rifled canons (capable of firing impact explosive 30
pound shells up to 5 miles) were used in mass in the civil war.

Gotta love that burst mode on the Canon. Nicely caught... not even a flutter from you at the sound of the boom ;)
