Sedge & Ragwort

May 8

Kingston Springs, TN

Best seen in ORIGINAL

I'm not sure what I think about this pano (9 images stitched in PS CS2).
It caught my eye and took quite some time to merge and tweak but the
subject is a bit week. I like the fluid lines and texture, but I just
can't put my finger on what bothers me. Anyway, critique away...

Thanks

Beautiful job Scott.

hmmm....the lines are good but the absence of subject matter makes it a less appealing picture?!!

You hit the nail on the head in line two Scott.
Look for something that will grab the eye and
not just pacify it.
Nice stitch job on it though!

welllll, I like it as is! Nature is seldom a mirror image. The variations hold my interest all the way across.

It could be a balance issue. The earth form is so balanced that the break in the dried Sedge does throw the textural balance off. Thanks Coleen!

Interesting work. I know what bothers you--the ride side is airy and the left side is solid.
