Tangled Up

May 6

Alum Bluff Trail (GSMNP)

I could not pass this up. Taken on my photo hike with Buz K,
I had seen these Birch roots wrapped around a boulder 100s of
times in the past but never before had the light been just right
for a detailed moody image. Buz and I spent about five hours
chasing and waiting on the light that day. This was a reward!

THANK YOU BUZ!

Great conversion Scott. This silver birch looks like a strangler fig out of some rain forest. Exotic feel to it in B&W.

This works really well in B&W. Nicely done Scott.
