Drop a Few

December 28

Home

Its time to drop a few and start getting back in shape. I hate the fact
that over the last several years, I have become less prepared for time
in the mountains hiking, backpacking, climbing and clicking away.

Guest 29-Dec-2006 07:05
lovely angle/pov. i usually attribute to 'big bones' as a result of the weight!? does that work?! :)
Gary Winters29-Dec-2006 04:26
That is the most unfigure-outable angle I've ever seen in a photo! That said, good luck with your resolution!
virginiacoastline29-Dec-2006 03:34

Yep, gotta make more time to get some exercise. I find that I don't even know I'm exercising when I take the camera out on a long shoot somewhere off the beaten path! BTW...nice feet!
Jessica McCollum29-Dec-2006 00:31

Original angle, but I'm not going to ask to see the set-up LOL!
Guest 28-Dec-2006 23:05
LOL @ Jude - I was just thinking the same thing too! And it's not as bad as it looks - you own a very heavy camera!!!
jude28-Dec-2006 22:58

I'm just trying to figure out how you shot this? if you can put yourself in the position I THINK you're in to get this perspective, I think you dont' need any workout..lol

Strolling through this week´s challenge contributions, I more and more get the feeling, that pbasers are a club of heavy weight champions. Feel like an outsider (LOL). Love this shot, Scott. gmv
Jola Dziubinska28-Dec-2006 20:17
I'm with you, Scott. Just put myself on a scale this morning... and didn't want to look...
Superb shot and resolution.
s_barbour28-Dec-2006 19:57
Oh you are a brave man, I would never divulge that kind of information to anyone!
However, I too am going to get back in better shape, perhaps we can encourage each other.
Buz Kiefer28-Dec-2006 19:49
210's not bad if your very tall, which I am not. Thanks for the reminder. :^)
chrisse28-Dec-2006 19:48

purpod28-Dec-2006 19:08
Perhaps making some more time would be a good resolution? (Did you have to point out the weight factor!? LOL)
Guest 28-Dec-2006 18:41
Hi Scott, just hold on to the towel rail and the pounds will drop off!! Good luck
and enjoy your outdoor life in the New Year.

Johnny JAG28-Dec-2006 17:47
I'm with Carole on this one, scales just make me fret so I don't use them.
petesie28-Dec-2006 17:29
No way would I take a photo of me on a scale, but I admire your resolution....I am making the same, just not going to put the numbers out there!!!
Carole Stevens28-Dec-2006 17:15
Thats too scary ban the scales!
Guest 28-Dec-2006 17:13
Once your little one gets active, you won't need a diet. :)

royalld28-Dec-2006 16:30
If that scale is accurate it looks like you and I have more in common than photography.
I'm tipping it at 214.
Gayle P. Clement28-Dec-2006 16:28
That looks serious! Well done, Scott.
