Daucus carota
(Queen Anne's Lace)

Roadside in Pegram, TN

One of my favorite native perennials, Queen Anne's Lace (Daucus carota) is a
long-lived showy beauty gracing roadsides and pastures throughout the summer.

I like the whole image but, especially like how the lace looks like it is being held up by the legs of a spider. Obviously there are more than eight legs to this spider (grin) but, that's OK with such a nice image like this.
