Intrigued

February 8

Kingston Springs, TN

I have been watching this huge Beech tree on a bluff on the Harpeth River for several
weeks thinking what potential the roots had in the right light. The intrigue finally
got me out on this brisk morning.

Looks like a golf shot that I have had several times. Now if I can just get it over that sand trap and back into the fairway!
This tree sure has distinctive markings on it.
worth the effort, Scott

Beautiful tree, probably over 150 years old judging from the part that I can see. Nice composition work including the roots and the little stream. Loaded with color in that gray bark. Good find and nice image Scott.
