I finally had a fight with myself and removed the macro
lens to force myself to back away for a few days. The
color is really coming on quickly right now. With only
.001 inches of rain in October, the leaves may wither
and fall off before they change :(

Exquisite light!! Love how the light illuminates the colored leaves by the side of the walkway, but also how it leads the eye around the bend, taking the viewer deeper into your photo! Stunning shot! Vote!

Glad to see you backing away and looking up. :) Great shot you've made. The composition works well, with the rays of sun leading down into the road, the road then leading deep into the scene, and the glimpses at the sky letting the eye escape the frame. Well done.
