If you could see the view in the gaps between the railroad ties down to the river below, you would realize how daring this is.

I know exactly what you mean! We have a railroad trestle here (which I've photoraphed in my IR and Rural GA galleries) and many moons ago I crossed it on foot as well. Well, actually, didn't get far b/c once I looked down between those gaps, and realized I could very well slip through, I turned right around! ;)
