June 26
In keeping with tradition, when I get a new lens I keep using it for several weeks to force myself to learn the strengths and weeknesses of the lens. In a walk about on my property Sunday afternoon I found the sun breaking through the trees on this cluster of Black-Eyed Susan. The 17mm perspective adds depth to the small cluster creating the illusion of added space. The tree in the background is only about 6 or 7 feet away. It's a fun lens.
