Angle of vision Martin Luther King's murderer had as he peered through the scope of his 30-06 at a man who embodied hope and peace. How much hate had to possess Him? They took his life, but they could not take his pride.
The wreath on the railing marks the spot where he was killed on April 3, 1968 as he stepped out of room 306 at the Loraine Hotel. Great men leave lasting marks on society no matter how briefly they walk among us.
