Mixed Emotions
SP Friday
April 24

Office

It's been quite a week. Photography is always a
form of therapy for me. I have hit some real lows
with what Dad has been going through. Earlier in
the week things were looking much more desperate
than they look here at the end of the week. There
have been some marked improvements but Dad is not
"out of the woods" yet. April, Ellie, Miles and
I have had a long weekend getaway planned that is
starting today. In all honesty, we need it as a
family. The children need it so they can spend a
little time with me. If Dad was not doing better,
we would not be going. We have decided to press
on although with mixed emotions.

It was on your expression, of course, not the situation. Wishing your family and especially your Dad, all the best.

I went thru it with both my parents two years ago.
Keep yourself focused and just deal with life as best
you can.

Hopefully you had a good long weekend...sounded like it was going to be full.
Did you put your camera down for awhile or did you shoot hundreds of shots????

Nice tight framing and your expression says it all. Works well in b/w. Prayer on continuing recovery for your dad.

Very good sp showing a range of emotions. You and your family have to take good care of yourselves first. I'm sorry to read that your father is ill.

Reasonable call Scott, you have to be strong for your family also, so the time spent together will do good to all of you. Try to clear your thoughts a bit and to enjoy with your angels...

You have to take care of yourselves to be able to care for your father. Enjoy the time with your family.
Guest 24-Apr-2009 20:58
I'm know you have been under a lot of stress, you and the family need a little break from the stress. I will keep ya'll in my prayers, they must be working if your Dad is showing some improvement. You are blessed to have your family to help you get thru this difficult time.
