It's been a good week!…

We completed another weekend of administering chemo at home. This time, no fevers… he is simply amazing.

Clinic this week was 9 hours long, 3 different chemo treatments and his second blood transfusion. The blood transfusion gives him energy and color back. He'd been extremely pale for several days.

Aiden has enjoyed the past few days with his sister. They have a special relationship, and it's comforting to see the smiles they only find together.

Now, we are counting the sleeps until his Birthday. On Wednesday, our baby will be 5 years old. We've always made a big deal about birthdays, but this year will be different due to the circumstances. We will be his party, all day long. We only hope it's enough.

His counts are still dropping, so we continue to take precautions. We are making every effort to keep him "healthy".

Thank you to all who participated in the two Bone Marrow Drives in Aiden's honor. They were both very successful and we are so appreciative of your selfless act of kindness. Praying for a match…
