Hey John! We miss you! You okay?
Are you still shooting? I have seen nothing of yours since Larry's death. I hope that you and yours are doing well.
Thanks for the nice comment on my Fungus...
As for them being eatable, your guess is as good as mine, but I have my doubts.....
Superbe galerie spécialement. the Barn Owl good shots
Yes, we have had a lot of rain in our area, but it' needed...

Thanks for the nice comments on my Fog images...
I really liked the Tetons image you posted yesterday with the yellow flowers in the FG..
Thanks for the nice comment on my Barn image..
I certainly know all about those yellow flowers, my wife and I have been fighting our allergies for quit some time...
John, You have an outstanding collection of diverse and beautiful images! Very impressive.
Thanks John I appreciate your nice comment on my foggy winter scene..
When I was taking that image I waited for the ducks to swim to the the end of the ice...
Thanks John for your comment on my Fox image...
When I first spotted him, he was laying on a round bale of hay but, before I could get a picture he leaped off and then stopped to take a look back at me. I was only able to get a few images before he disappeared...
Thanks for your nice comments on my images...
Our Whitetails have been on the rise, in spite of the wolf problems.
Out where we live the wolves have been increasing and the ranchers have declared war on them...
I would say that this is a less than avarage year for show in the Park.
One can see that there has been some really cold temps because of the ice build up in the creeks..
Have fun if you get up there...Gary
The image I took of the buck in velvet was taken in an area that is closed to hunting...
In the past I have seen some really huge Whitetail Bucks.
The last time this area was open it was a trophy hunting area...
Best wishes to you and to yours at 2009!
And thanks that you visit my site regulary.
Hi, John, did you ever get out to see the whales again?
Happy New Year,
Hi John! Thanks for your kind comments on my ELK photos! You have some incredible photos and terrific galleries... I may have to come back and visit for a bit longer!
Cottonmouths are not as deadly as people think. You realize you are more likely to die from a bee sting than a snake bite. There is a pretty good snake site out there on the topic for Arkanas snakes. I didn't realize it, but snakes only inject venom 50% of the time when they bite. I have a wildlife blog that might interest you.
Thanks for visiting. MD
for a guy that doesnt like shooting birds you do a damn fine job
