I remember this storm, I was only 8. My parents and I had just finished grocery shopping when it started, we had to hunker down in the car (all of us sitting in front and facing east) as driving would have caused more damage to the car and/or cause an accident. My dad had an early 70's Valiant, which were made of stern material, and this hail caused massive dents in the side, broke windows and mirrors. Wild time.

Most likely taken in the vicinity of Condon Oregon. Some in that area claimed to have seen even larger, softball-sized hail.

nice picture. where was this taken? because there was a powerful thunderstorm producing baseball sized hail in Hermiston, North-Central Oregon that same morning.
