This is an old film image. Remember that stuff? I was driving around the country one day looking for Red Tail hawks when I spotted what at first looked like a Robin. Closer inspection of this dead tree hole revealed a sleeping Screech Owl. It was about 25 feet up, and my paltry 300mm/4.5 just wouldn't cut it. I hurriedly drove home and got the big gun: a Celestron 8" telescope!
This image was captured using an Olympus OM-4T, the aforementioned Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope (f.l. 2000mm) coupled to an Olympus 2x converter, and a 65mm extension tube. Two tripods rounded out the setup.
