Added blue tint using Paintshop ProX9 software. This is an IR filter RAW image processed to black and white in Lightroom, then tinted.

Canon EOS 80D ,Tamron 18-400 zoom
30s f/8.0 at 18.0mm iso2000 full exif

To my guest, please note that the lens is pretty good for such a zoom range and I like it very much. In this IR photo there is a lot of wind and the time of the photo is 30 seconds so in that situation details are always lost. The trees are blowing and blurred as is the grass. The water is flowing and blurred or blended. For the faster color shots, post processing can sharpen the images considerably when needed.

Does this new filter cause image details to become so soft that the details blur together without any definition? Or is there something about the 18-400mm lens? I'm still considering getting this lens, but this new series of your photos has me rethinking it. T

Beautiful! The added blue tint makes the white trees stand out really nicely.
