Phil, this picture marks a point of inflection in my photographic journey . The title you chose really represents what it means to me. It is a "Celebration of Life". The portrayed woman is my wife, Fernanda. And the lines that she drew on her face are representative of her own inner journey, an archetypal journey to her Celtic roots.
I love this shot. I would call it "Celebration of Life" The lines on the face seem to have put there for ritualistic meaning, and the can almost hear the shout of joy coming from the exultant mouth. You have lost none of your magic, Marisa. This is among the most recently made images you have posted and it tells me how you must regard your own life at this stage of your journey.
