Canoes under construction East Kwaio Malaita

My host felled a tree near his compound and used it to build three canoes and the rest went to the cooking fire.

Nice Photos! I lived in East Kwaio (above Sinalaagu Harbor in the mountains for 4 years), so I do so love these the memories these photos bring.
