“The Ultimate Fight Stopper”…and in the past one hundred plus years the only true twofold modification made to John Browning’s creation has been to the cartridge feeding system. The box magazine’s cartridge retention lips were rounded to accommodate turn of the century manufacturing technologies and secondly, and a somewhat more recent improvement, is the widening and polishing of the barrel’s feeding ramp allowing function ability of today’s modern projectiles...aside from the 230 grain ball that the unit was designed to function. 21st century machining technology has improved function ability, reliability and ergonomic comforts; it is understandable that the unit continues its service worldwide.

Unfortunately as long as man roams the face of the planet where will be violence. And if the occasion presents itself the one weapon of choice for my tool box is the .45 caliber Automatic Colt Pistol M1911A1.

Thank you for your work Mr. R
