The "Aransas Pass (Lydia Ann) Historical Lighthouse" is located on the west side of the Lydia Ann Shipping Channel. The lighthouse was completed in 1857. The lighthouse has withstood the ravages of hurricanes and the Civil War. When the modern lighthouse was built in nearby Port Aransas the old lighthouse was sold into private ownership. It is now owned By Charles Butt, president of the H-E-B grocery chain. The lighthouse is only accessible by boat and on invitation.
The panorama of the lighthouse was created in August 2009. It is available as a canvas inkjet print mounted with 45-degree gallery return (40"X23.5"). Custom sizes of images of the exterior and interior of the lighthouse and attached buildings are available. All Images represented in gvisionsart galleries are printed with a Epson 9880 printer on archival canvas and inks, then coated with Eco Shield to provide a durable, long lasting surface. All images are numbered and personalized at the time of printing to provide the owner with a fine art print in the tradition of print making. For more information contact gvisionsart@cableone.net.
