Along with Stac Pollaidh, my favouritest of all peaks in Assynt and the Coigach....its shape is just wonderful and sensuous, and this fine winter's shot of the Caisteal Liath top suitably moody and mysterious. V

That recalls me the "Devil’s Tower" (the idea, not the form) in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind ", a mount for intergalactic encounters.
