Onsite food preparation is not permitted by market vendors. If onsite food preparation is proposed, approval to operate a temporary food service establishment is required. If you wish to operate a food premises, you must submit an application to the localHealth Protection and Environment Servicesoffice prior to construction or operation. Operating permits and approvals are not transferrable to new owners. City services support the community and protect the health and wellbeing of our residents and staff.
Please contact each of these businesses individually if you need to verify their service area. The Old Country Market Restaurant welcomes you to their dining room. They are open late all week and are readily reachable by public transit and bicycle.



Older hotel that has been updated recently. Light clean decor in rooms and lobby. White furniture in the rooms is a nice change takeout Parksville from hotel brown. Good standard of food in the restaurant. Very pleasant staff at front desk and in the restaurant.

Sit outside on the new beautiful outdoor patio and sip on one of their fun and innovative patio cocktails. Cockney Pride might not be the jewel of our town, but I dont think they are aiming for jewels. They serve good quality, fresh home cooked, consistent fare, served by two lovely ladies, who know many of their clientele by name. A good reason being, locals are returning time and time again. We have fancier restaurants in town, with fancier prices and staff that do not know when a meal has been completed. ( I am referring to position of knife and fork.) We will continue our patronage.
We entered the elevator as the door was closing. Restaurant pipes music inside and out. I stayed on a busy weekend and the noise from the restaurant spoiled the peace and quiet. Very quiet on the other days I stayed. I am sick and tired of the emails from you.

Had a restaurant with really good food. For a small fee, we were able to get a room with a gorgeous ocean view. Lounge served awesome foods with generous portions. Staff were exceptionally friendly.We would DEFINITELY stay again. The food was very good and the location is amazing!
Had an amazing view of the water and saw lots of geese. The staff were very personable rooms clean and convenience of restaurant in the same building. The location and view from our balcony were beautiful. Close to everything we wanted to do and the pool was great.

No minors permitted at this time and you must be 19 years of age. Family dining will return in the Spring of 2021. Jonasson, it turns out, is a magician when it comes to fermentation and flavour. She is also one of a new generation of food-obsessed locals radically changing the food scene along what was once arguably B.C.’s sleepiest stretch of coastline.
As restaurants have limited capacity at this time, reservations are highly recommended, if not mandatory. Have been there several times - especially when we have visitors from out of province. Unlike many other places, each and every dish has its own distinctive taste -the way it should taste. The owner/chef is very friendly and and has always made sure to greet us personally. The decor is jut Ok but you do not go there for the decor.
