During July, 2004, Ruth and Roy visited Vienna, Venice, Florence and Rome. Lufthansa Airlines
took us up the Eastern US Coastline over St. John,Canada, where we turned east, crossing the
Atlantic at 36,000 Feet. On our approach to Europe, we flew over the United Kingdom to Germany,
where we landed at Munich and took our next flight for Vienna.

From Vienna, we flew to Marco Polo Airport,Venice. While in Venice, we visited the
islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. Then we made our way by Eurostar train to
Florence and by Eurostar train again to Rome. The rural Italian scenery seen from the train
was peaceful and beautiful. Leaving Rome,we flew Lufthansa back to the US and home again.

These photos show some highlights of our trip. Spending some time sightseeing in Rome with Ruth's
sister, Sandy, and our nieces Nicole and Natalie was among the best of these highlights!

Throughout our entire trip, we were always met in a friendly and helpful manner. We were
especially delighted when one of our taxi drivers in Rome told us "We love America!" This
was truly "a trip to remember."
