Ann, you wrote... "I am having intermittent issues with it not autofocusing and was wondering if you have run into this problem at all with your 70-200."

First let me thank you for your comments and votes. I really appreciate it. I checked out your latest Yellowstone page and you do very fine work and I've added you to my favorites as well.

As for the lens, there have been some issues but it may not be the lens; it may be the doubler. I've noticed lately when I shoot close-up work with my 1.7 doubler attached to the 70-2000 mm the results are soft. When I remove the doubler and just shoot with the lens, it is sharp. I still use the 70-200 with the doubler for wildlife but for close up shots I just use the lens. Not sure the cause but there is a problem.

I know this doesn't help but...

Hello Ann, Thanks for visiting my Florida gallery. Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales FL is a quiet place, away from the crowds. I have found several different birds there including the wood ducks. Lots of warblers, hummingbirds and butterflies too. Hope you have a great trip!

Hey Ann. Heartfelt thanks for your concern and many others. My family and I thank God right. You're absolutely right! It probably will not ever end because these people we're dealing with. They want our destruction! Let's hope for better days. Thank you again.

Ann- Thanks for viewing my red butterfly. No this butterfly is not real. I needed a photo of the day and it was laying on the wall by our pool and so I decided It would do. This butterfly is run by solar and is stuck in a potted plant, so it is flying most of the time. Thanks for commenting. You have some outstanding photos of wildlife.

Hi Ann.. thanks for all your visits to my galleries!! nice!

the GHO pupils are different, due to the light coming into the eyes on the angle, there is more light on our left side, so the pupil is smaller.. I am sure the bird is very healthy, for what I see.

best wishes!

Ann,
Viera Wetlands are in Melbourne, FL. Use Exit 191 on the I-95 and go West 3 miles to the end of the paved road. Wetlands are just past the water treatment plant.

Hi Ann. Thanks for your comment about my Pileated Woodpecker photos. No, he didn't attack his reflection or otherwise show any agressive behavior. He just seemed very, very curious!
