No one know what are the rules to enter and exit, it is quite possible that you enter in side the buraimi and when you exit rules might be changed.

Please note that Buraimi is no longer open to all visitors from Al Ain It can only be acessed via a border post at Hilli which is around 8 kilometers from the normal access point near Al Ain city center. Delays can vary from a few minutes to over an hour depending on your time of arrival at the border post. Travellers will need to have residence visas for the UAE to enter Buraimi. Those on travel visas must ensure that it is of the multiple entry type in order to leave the UAE go to Oman and re-enter the UAE again. This seems to be a growing trend between the UAE and Oman in those Emirates where open borders have existed. The welcome sign has now virtually been replaced with one which says "Border for GCC Nationals Only". It is so blatant that clearly the racial and national innuedo is missed by almost everyone.
