The UN evacuated these wounded men from Srebrenica to Tuzla for medical care. Most of them are missing legs, either one or both. They were in the back of a big British truck for transport from the airport to the hospital in town. One of the photographers had just given them cigarettes, but we forgot the matches. They were asking us for matches when I shot this photo.
