Strange Times

The early warnings reminded me of “Duck and Cover”.
No one seemed to take it seriously.
But then a few weeks ago…
Back when you could find TP and hand sanitizer.
Suddenly you could barely get through the crowded aisles.
You could tell that some people were going to hunker down.
There is a difference between hoarding and stocking up.
Some people didn’t get the memo but hey you have yours right?
Out in the parking lot others obviously were bugging out
probably heading for a fish camp on a lot out on the west end.
A glorified camping trip! Smell ya later!
Thankfully, around us it's been neighbors and friends
checking in on each other over the fence or other ways,
so far there is no bad news.
All this still seems like a bad movie!
Like I said… Strange Times.

Be safe and good luck!

Nice to see this Costco empty. Fortunately for us people in our area are keeping calm and adhering to instructions. I must say, I've never seen so many people walking around our neighborhood, and almost everyone waves or says hello!

That is really bizarre and a sad reflection of the world today.

WOW - I quit going to Costco because I couldn't handle the crowds - and that was before this crisis. Should join up now :) I wonder where it's all going to end !!! The internet's going to be the next one to go - I fear !!!

How bizarre, not long enough stores were seeing throngs of people, now this. Two sides of the same coin that is the new reality.

David, It could have and it's just a mind blowing reality in our little world! I think that's how it sinks in for most people no matter where they live.

This photo could have been taken anywhere in the world. Isn't that amazing? V
