Second Place

My second favorite place on Highway 101 is The Golden Gate Bridge.
When given the chance I drive past my favorite part of Highway 101
and keep going until I get to the second favorite place.
The number one favorite place is the drive along Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park.
When I get to see both on a drive down the coast, it’s a bonus!
The best part is I get to see them again on the way back!

Instantly recognisable in that shade of red. Hope I can get there one day!

Great driving photo of this iconic bridge.
I'm a local who needs to visit this area more often.

Your 2 favorite places on this highway are great choices! I always enjoy seeing the Golden Gate Bridge.

I do hope that you tilted the camera and the bridge is level. I concur with Crescent Lake.

Cool perspective. I like the tilt. I am afraid I must disagree with both of you. My favorite stretch of the 101 is between Oceanside and Del Mar (see my photo of the day today).

I like the bright colors and sense of "road trip" here!

a jaunty tilt to jolt the perceptions...prefer the coast around Bandon, and of course Ruby Beach, gem of the PNW...understandable that we each have favourite spots...for sure the 101 leads a curious traveler to many memorable locations..
