Framed…

…while waiting for something to happen.
The gulls were watching everything and looking for the next dead fish.
The eagles were watching the gulls because they foolishly ring
the dinner bell if something to eat suddenly appears on the beach.
She was watching the eagles hoping they to do eagle stuff so she could get a photo.
Sometimes we wait for something that doesn’t happen.
Sometimes it does and it’s great!
As we know, it’s how it done.

Dungeness Landing (AKA - The Oyster House)
Dungeness Bay

Sometimes the greatest stuff happens but one still has
to wait for it and just being there is the best part.

So true! Wonderful when the moment comes, if you're ready!

I always enjoy your outlook, no pun intended. Nice capture. I hope at least one of you got what you were waiting for.

Interesting shot, composition and commentary. Makes a good case for shooting architecture, which happens to be my favorite.

We too have a Dungeness - a coastal point that looks over to France. It also has a bird reserve but it might not have ever seen an eagle!

Wonderful commentary. Agreeing with Marcia and others.

sometimes just being there is enough, isn't it?

It's the thrill of the hunt that counts.

positively predatory...those coastal birds are often on top of the moments, and at other times merely optimistic..
