Hummer School

Mama humming bird seems to be showing her offspring the ins and outs of gardens.
They seem to like the scarlet runner beans better than the borage and have
claimed that row of the garden because they buzz anyone who comes to close.

Pam was walking by and captured this moment!
The Mama hummer decided it was time for dive bombing lessons.
When that happens, don’t duck because they come so close
and so fast if you try to avoid them, you’ll get hit.
Stay still and leave it up to them to miss, they won’t make contact!

sweet image...have experienced their dive bombing, and it can be scary as they pass by so closely with that needle like beak...still, a mother has a right, and duty, to protect her young..
