The Traveller 27-Apr-2010 21:08
Series airs on CBBC from Monday, May 3, 2010, at 17:45 - Surprised to see it has and '18' symbol beside the online listing!

The Mission (Childrens) 18 certificate
2110.
The year is 2110 and the entire planet has been taken over by the Roboidz. Led by our intrepid hero, Caleb, four brave adventurers from the 21st century compete in tough missions throughout Future Gate, the enemy's stronghold. Their aim is to steal as many bio-rods as they can from the evil Roboidz and zombie-like Shades. But will Caleb and his recruits, Ayoife, Conor, Max and Melanie, finally restore peace to our post-apocalyptic land or will the cybernetic monsters take over?

Good on them...injecting into the area they use is only fair!!

Right. Tutto chiaro, as the Italians would say if they spoke my Italian. Sounds like good PR from Maersk. And Captain of the Raft sounds like a bit of a cushy number.

Basically, the BBC paid a 'location fee' to Maersk for the use of the ships to film the kids show Mission:2010 but instead of keeping the money, Maersk decided they would share it amongst various charities/groups/schools etc(17 in total i think) located around where the ships are located. Rothesay Pipeband, Isle of Bute Sailing Club and Calums Cabin all got a cheque presented to them yesterday by the Captain of the raft(that guy in the boiler suit as you say!) I had hoped ForArgyll.com would of had an updated article up by now but they haven't...

Some great pictures, but what's the story? You went out in the Alicat and some bloke in a blue boiler suit presented things to the sailing club and others. Our esteemed harbourmaster was there and so was Carlo Zavaroni from the sailing club. So what was the occasion? Or am I just being a pedant?
