New Holland Honeyeater on a roseshrub

He's the one who has to keep watch for anything dangerous - with a piercing high pitched call that penetrates for quite a distance. You can see the damage done to my rose shrubs with the extended drought, scorching days and tight watering restrictions! This is a wonderful old rose, not sure exactly which one, they all merge together like an impenetrable jungle!
