Soaring Eagle & Hazy Sky.

At home

Looking up towards the south the sky is clear, but the north is still hazy with smoke
from the various wild fires still burning in parts of our state, including Kangaroo
Island where a third of the island has been razed to the ground in many parts with
huge losses of wildlife, stock and houses. Of course, the eagles (2) had to be soaring
when all I had on me was my phone! I noticed all the birdlife had gone quiet and were
hiding in the leafiest of trees.

Isn't it always the case! At least you got a shot of it.

Very nice selection of images. It is heartbreaking hearing the news about the fires.

A wonderful collage. So good that all is well were you are but the devastation at other parts of your beautiful country is heart-breaking.

Tremendous loss of animals and trees....so sorry about the ignorance of politicians to accept the climate change. Good collage! V

This is a wonderful collage, and so nice to see wildlife and greenery when there is such devastation elsewhere. V

I absolutely love the image at the bottom right! I've been watching the wildfire situation in Australia. How sad about Kangaroo Island.
